Qualifying for the NET (National Eligibility Test) is crucial in the Library and Information Science field. If you clear the NET exam, you become eligible for Assistant Librarian (AL) and PSC (Public Service Commission) positions. Additionally, you can also prepare for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).
For AL and PSC positions, having both NET qualification and an MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) degree is mandatory.
Matlab: Agar aap qualify hogye hai NET toh aap kisi bhi PSCs, AL post ke liye eligible hai. JRF ki bhi tyari kijiye ache se.
If you qualify for JRF, I suggest pursuing a PhD, but only if you have financial and personal stability. A PhD is a long and challenging process, but it is a valuable degree. So, it’s important to be clear about your career goals before starting.
For PhD admissions, aim for Central Universities first, then State Universities, and finally Private Universities, depending on the opportunities available at that time.
Matlab: Agar JRF qualified hai toh mera suggestion hai ki Ph.D kijiye agar family/financial conditions thik hai toh.
Ph.D. central universities se try kijiye, phir state, phir private universities dekhiye ya apke liye jo best lage kyuki aap sabhi ki conditions alag alag hogi aur phir family se bhi suggestions lijiye.
